    Introduction

  • ICFAI Business School Aptitude test -IBSAT


    IBSAT is a national level admission test accomplished by The Federation of Universities for the students who seek admission into the post graduate programmes offered by the ICFAI

    Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at website and make payment of Rs.1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/ MasterCard/ Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the Online Application. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

    Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from website, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs.1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of "IUCF A/c IBS" payable at Hyderabad).     The entrance exam IBSAT is conducted all over country. The applicants are allowed to choose any of the available centres for the exam. Any kind of desires regarding change of the examination centre will not be considered in any condition.

    All the candidates who have applied for the IBSAT entrance examination are eligible to download the admit cards that are available online at the website www.ibsat.org.     Introduction

    Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) will be held on May 18, by Andhra University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE).     The ICET question paper contains multiple choice objective type test with 200 questions. It is divided into three sections and the should finish the paper with in 150 minutes.

  • Symbiosis National Aptitude SNAP Test


    Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common and mandatory written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University. However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Post-Graduate programme of that Institute.
    This test is held under the guidance of SIEC Deemed University.   • Joint Management Entrance Test - JMET


    About JMET Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is national level admission test conducted for the aspirants of management students by IITs and IISc. The exam is specially designed for the candidates of Engineering and Masters in science. The eligible candidates of the examination get admission into the IITs or IISc for the post graduate program in management. These institutes are the prominent institutes of the country in the technical and science sector and hence the number aspirants taking this exam every year is larger.

    Structure of JMET Test The Joint Management Entrance test is a multiple choice objective type examination with 180 minute duration. The question paper constitutes of 120 questions and is divided into four sessions, Verbal Communication: 30 questions Quantitative Ability: 30 questions Logical Reasoning: 30 questions Data Interpretation: 30 questions There will b negative marking for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted for each wrong response.

  • Management Aptitude Test - MAT


    MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December. The minimum qualifications for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent recognised degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different MIs / Universities.

    Since 1988, All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), New Delhi conducts a Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on a national basis every year in the months of May, September and December. The Government of India has approved MAT as a National Entrance Test for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes. Institutes offering recognised PG programmes in management and allied fields can participate in MAT. MAT is necessary for admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology & Management (PGDITM) and equivalent programmes offered by All India Management Association (AIMA-CME) or other Management Institutes (MI). Centre for Management Education (CME), the education wing of AIMA, was established in 1993 as a full-fledged autonomous business school. All management institutes that participate in MAT are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to universities.

    AIMA-CME offers various programmes to suit the requirements at different levels of management.   • Common Admission Test - CAT


    The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a Computer Based Test in Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) use the test as an important component in selecting students for the business administration programs.The test is conducted every year by one of the IIM's based on a policy of rotation. In August 2011 it was announced that Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) would use CAT, instead of JMET, as part of the student selection process of their MBA and Masters in Management programmes from the academic year 2012-13.
    The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs, IITs, FMS and IISc. For details on programmes offered by each of the IIMs, please refer to their respective websites .
    There are non-IIM institutions that have registered to avail the CAT scores to be used in their admission process. CAT score use is restricted only for admission to IIMs and non-IIM member institutions.

    Test Duration :
    There will be two separately timed sections in the test. Once a section ends, candidates can no longer go back to it. The sections are (a) Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (b) Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. Each of the sections will have a duration of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Including a 15-minute tutorial before the start of the test which candidates are advised to go through, the total duration of the test will be 2 hours and 35 minutes.
