UP CPMT 2013 -� Utter Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test acronym as UP CPMT is taken on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh by Lucknow University, for admission to the 1st year of M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.H.M.S., B.A.M.S. and B.U.M.S. courses in various Government and recognized/approved Medical/Dental/ Homeopathic /Ayurvedic/Unani Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can choose from 41 Private and Government institutes through this examination. 8 of these institutes offer courses in MBBS, 15 offer BDS and the remaining offer BUMS, BHMS and BAMS.

UP CPMT Eligibility

Educational Qualification

The candidate for appearing in the exam must have passed in 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as one of subjects or other equivalent examination of recognized Board / University in U.P. with 50% average marks in the Science subjects (for General category candidates) and 40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

  • For BAMS Course: Madhyama Examination Passed Students of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi is eligible.
  • For BUMS Course: High School or equivalent Examination Passed with Urdu.
  • For MBBS/BDS Course: the eligibility conditions will be as specified by the Medical Council of India.

Note: The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the year respective year are also eligible, subject to the showing of evidence of passing the examination at the time of counselling.

Age:

Aspiring candidate must completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year.

Other Eligibility Conditions

A candidate should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. If not, he should fulfill the residence criteria laid by the U.P. government for applying to the UPCPMT Exam 2013.

UP CPMT Syllabus

UP CPMT consists of questions from the +2 level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

UP CPMT Pattern

UP CPMT consists of two parts have objective type multiple choice question as given below.

After qualifying both these papers, the candidate has to appear for a third paper which evaluates the usage of Hindi language of the applicant which is again a multiple choice paper.

UP CPMT Exam Fee

Application Forms/Brochure costing Rs.665 for General and OBC candidates and Rs.365 for SC/ST candidates are available at all Head Post Offices of all Districts of Uttar Pradesh and at two Districts of Uttarakhand State i.e. Dehradun and Nainital.
