Master of Science in Agriculture is a Post Graduate Academic Degree awarded
for a course or program in the field of Agriculture. It is abbreviated as M.Sc.
(Agri) which denotes the master degree in Agriculture.

Duration - M.Sc. (Agri) programme is of 2 years duration,
spread over a number of semester which are mostly 4 in number. The students has
to complete 50 credits out of which 35 credits are allotted to course work and
15 credits to research work.

This program provides training and practical experience in all aspects of
agriculture including agricultural applications, marketing, financial management
and business studies. Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex
body for coordinating, guiding and managing research and education in
Agriculture including Horticulture, Fisheries and Animal Sciences in India.
