students or colleges didn't take internship seriously and academicians also felt

of Dental Surgery

Those candidates who have a passion for serving humanity should opt for this
course. B.D.S. is not meant for those candidates who cannot bear ghastly sights
and smells. As a Dentist one will have to deal with a variety of patients who
could have severe problems in their teeth or gums. To diagnose one needs to
conduct a physical examination. The physical examination will expose one to
obnoxious smell from both medicine and patient's mouth. So one should be
mentally prepared to keep this fact in mind before opting for this course.
Another area is surgery which requires patience and calm mind. Certain surgeries
require physical stamina which is often lacking in girls. Girls need to acquire
that stamina.
